Random Nuggets

  • Is this my audience
Try to get to see a venue before you perform there. Ask yourself, ‘is this my audience, will they get me?’
  • Visual elements
Props are a great way of introducing a visual element to your set, but make sure you rehearse them, otherwise they’ll trip you up.
  • Hydrate!
Hydrate! Take a small bottle of water with a sports cap on stage with you. Nerves can make your mouth as dry as a desert.
